We cast spells for protection, have talismans and runes for protection, there are many Gods and Goddesses from many pantheons dedicated to protection. How does one go about protection ones self spiritually, physically, mentally? How does one cast a spell to protect someone else, or send energy out to others? What can you do to protect your home, your work, your family and friends? This is what we will be discussing tonight, the different methods, majiks, herbs, and so on, used for protection. The information that we put out is general and everyone's beliefs are different, and it is right in any form that you chose to do it. We encourage input as well as any other ideas that you may have for protection. Herbs Many herbs have a natural protective essence, and a combination of the right herbs in a big, soup, or tea can really enhance protective energies. Below is a list of herbs that can be used for protection and a few ways to use them in either spell form, teas, or raw. Many are used widely throughout the world, like the horseshoe. Cornucopia Glove Horseshoe Lock Full moon 4-leaf clover Colors As Pagans, Witches, and Druids we use color and color coordination in many aspects of out daily lives and faith. This is the same when it comes to the protective aspects of colors. There are two that have the most protective symbolism, white and black. White = protection Black = absorption of negativity |
